TONY RAY
the pioneer of reggae in Israel . owner of the
jamaica club in tel aviv Israel. I originated
from jamaica to bristol england where i started my musical
career in school . with soul band
called "THE LURKS" then later "THE
COCKTAILS", toured bierut , switzerland , greece and
israel where i settled and now live. I formed the first and NO.1 Reggae band
callad "AMJAH" which means people of God .. we have since recorded five albums
consisting of english and hebrew hits played on radio and

Amjah preformed at "ROCK Against HATE" festival
zurich switzerland (http://www.rock-against-hate.com/zurich/programm.html) On the 15.6.97
where we drove the festival crazy. We are currently
preforming around Israel and at schools teaching the young
and old the meaning and development of REGGAE . We play many BOB MARLEY and
ofcourse our own original songs delivering a lively show involving the
Audience .
