On Feb. 25, 2001, Reggae Power had a special session, three hours long, in which Dr. Reggae "clashed" with Ras Kulcha, check out their playlist. In 2004, sofar Reggae Power had the pleasure to host the Iyam Band live in the studio, as well as the Kenguru Reggae Band, The Israeli Dub Artist Mister Vibes, Mc Jahron and the local young talent Souljah. On 20/3/05, Alon Adiri (On-U Sound, Dub Syndicate) was special guest in the Reggae Power show, playing tracks from his new Album NASH (feat. MC Navigator, Ghetto Priest) and talking about his new label Fresh records. Reggae Power is brought to you by DJ Edo and Selector Dr. Reggae. Reggae Power is a program of Radio Eshel HaNassi, part of the Kol Yisrael network, and is received in a large part of southern Israel, including greater Beer Sheva, with it's large population of Ethiopian Israeli's, and the Black Hebrew community of Dimonah, many of them listen to the show. But also the Tel Aviv reggae possee tries to catch the show using outdoor antennas. The willing cooperation of the Israeli music industry and visits from sofar nearly all the big Israeli reggae stars to the show, indicates that the show increases their sales.

Dr. Reggae (Tal Grubstein) is a wellknown reggae DJ/MC, radio reggae DJ and selecter, helped organizing reggae parties and festivals, brings much new reggae to Israeli ears, and much Israeli reggae to international ears, and can indeed truely be called an international reggae ambassador. He was struck by "reggaemylitis" around 1975, and ever since expanded his love, knowledge, and collection of reggae in width and in depth.
DJ E-DO MIX is the Reggae Power DJ since Sept. 2002. Check out DJ E-Do Mix's page; we soon will add more text on it.

Check out the Israeli Reggae artists and reggae scene in Israel. Includes concert/festival/party dates! With the professional production, and selection by Dr. Reggae, and the irie and eloquent presentation by DJ Edo, and of course the guidance and supervision by Kol Yisrael, for many listeners of the show it may come as somewhat of a surprise to hear that Radio Eshel HaNassi is in fact .... a 'college radio station'! Eshel HaNassi is a highschool in the south of Israel. The radio station is a part of the communications program of Eshel HaNassi, and is guided and supervised by Kol Yisrael, the official Israeli state radio. Eshel HaNassi radio exists already since 1994. The students do nearly all the work on their programs: they are the editors, the technicians, and also the announcers and presentors of the programs. 9 hours daily, the programs are varied over a wide range of music styles. Of course, this is not (necessarily) a hobby for them, it is education and training, but since they choose the communications program to become radio and TV professionals, they do their work with utmost enthousiasm. It is said that this is the most popular station in the region, and it has a very high rating, 10,000s of people tune in to it on a regular basis.
