Ras Meny was the first DJ on Reggae Power, until he finished school in the beginning of 2000, and did his last Reggae Power show in April. To honour this enthousiastic and talented DJ, we keep the previous section of the Reggae Power page about Meny at this place.

Ras Meny (Meny Vaknin), 17 years old now in 1999, is one of the Eshel radio talents. He loves reggae music since some 4 years, the first record he bought was "Exodus" by Bob Marley & the Wailers. He likes especially roots and dub. He decided that he wanted to be a reggae DJ, after he saw Buju Banton in a live concert in Israel. He is a cool and irie DJ bringing his words over a heavy dub riddim, of whom we may hear much more as he proceeds in this carreer.
