Peter Tosh, one of the early Wailers members, left the Wailers early on, to pursue a solo-career that brought forth some of the strongest Reggae songs of all time, Legalize It, Downpresser man, Bush Doctor, Equal Rights, all militant, powerful and meaningful roots reggae at its best. Some interesting cooperations like the one with the Rolling Stones/Mick Jagger, gave light to 'The Toughest' (keep on a walkin dont look back) which featured the hitparades for months. Unfortunately, like so many of the very best reggae singers, Peter Tosh died too young, being shot down by a robber in his house in Jamaica. But nobody can kill Peter Tosh's songs and music, which will keep his memory alive and his message being carried on.
